Buckeyes – Sara – December 09

Recipe (taken from Better homes & Garden Cookbook “Peanut Butter Balls”):

½ cup Peanut Butter

3 Tbsp butter

1 cup powdered sugar

6 oz chocolate-flavored candy coating

This was super duper easy. Mix everything except candy coating (I got a microwaveable variety) and form into a ball.
Take that ball, stick it on a toothpick and dip into chocolate.

Cool in the fridge for as long as you can stand it before you have to eat one! They were good, and I can fit more than one in my mouth!

  1. These easily rivaled the best buckeyes I've ever had. Probably surpassed them, but hard to say as I didn't have any for side-by-side comparison. Totally awesome. Here is an exclamation point!

  2. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. One of my favorites. And alarmingly easy to make.

  3. Buckeyes! Awesome. Although I've made these before, I am ashamed to say that I never thought of using a dang toothpick to dip them, duh!

  4. Don't feel bad, I didn't start out using a toothpick... I started with a fork, then my fingers, and so on. It was a bad scene. I actually used a kabob skewer because they peanut butter balls were big, worked pretty well.
